Elaine Henderson, the founder of Border Hypnotherapy Centre,
      has a Diploma in Ericksonian & Clinical Hypnotherapy and is
      a licensed Master NLP Practitioner, NLP Business Practitioner, 
      Hypno-Band Practitioner, Reiki Practitioner & Emotrance Practitioner.


     As a fully qualified hypnotherapist she was one of the first in the
     country to be registered with the Complementary and National
 Healthcare Council (CNHC). CNHC is the UK regulator for complementary
    healthcare practitioners, set up in the interest of the public and CNHC’s
function is to enhance public protection by setting standards for registration. The CNHC quality mark is
now recognised as the standards hallmark for the Sector and The Department of Health recommend that the
public always consult with someone who is CNHC registered, where CNHC registers the professional discipline
in question.

Elaine is also registered and licensed by The British Complementary Medicine Association, a certified member
of the British Institute of Hypnotherapy/Psychotherapy (BIH) and a Registered Hypnotherapist (GHR)
as validated by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council.
She is also a certified member of the Society of Neuro-Linguistic Programming established in 1978 which was
set up as a quality control measure by Dr Richard Bandler, the co-creator of NLP and she is also
 
She is a keen hillwalker and skier and competed in athletics for Scotland.
